| dc.description.abstract | Este capítulo aborda la transformación digital de los servicios públicos desde una perspectiva de diseño centrado en las personas (UX). Los autores analizan los desafíos que enfrentan las instituciones gubernamentales para modernizar sus trámites y responder eficazmente a las necesidades de la población, promoviendo la participación activa y el compromiso ciudadano. A través de la revisión del contexto puertorriqueño (con el análisis del caso de la iniciativa cívico-tecnológica Maria Tech Brigade surgida tras el paso del huracán María), el capítulo demuestra cómo la colaboración entre la tecnología, la ciudadanía y el Estado permite crear servicios e interfaces de gobierno accesibles, transparentes y centrados en resolver problemáticas sociales complejas durante situaciones de crisis o desastres naturales. | es_PE |
| dc.description.abstract | This chapter addresses the digital transformation of public services from a user-centered design (UX) perspective. The authors analyze the challenges government institutions face in modernizing their procedures and responding effectively to the population's needs, while promoting active citizen participation and engagement. Through a review of the Puerto Rican context (analyzing the case of the civic-tech initiative Maria Tech Brigade, created in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria), the chapter demonstrates how collaboration between technology, citizens, and the state enables the creation of accessible, transparent government services and interfaces focused on solving complex social problems during crises or natural disasters. | en |
