Contrastes y sorpresas de la economía peruana en 1979

Abstract

Pocos años ha habido tan llenos de contrastes y de sorpresas en la historia económica reciente del Perú como 1979. Varios de estos contrastes se perciben de manera muy diferente, según el ángulo en que uno se sitúa dentro de la sociedad peruana y según el grado en que uno sufre sus efectos. Las sorpresas dependen también de las ideas o expectativas que uno tiene. Todo ellos nos lleva a hacer las breves reflexiones siguientes, y a intentar un atisbo de pronósticos para el año 1980 y la década que ahora empieza.Few years had some many contrasts and surprises in the recent economic history of Peru like 1979. Some of these contrasts are perceived differently according to the angle in which one is situated inside the Peruvian society and the way one suffers its effects. The surprises depend also of the ideas or expectations one has. All this leads us to make these brief reflections and to try a forecast for 1980 and the next decade.
