Propuesta de sistema de gestión del desempeño en el departamento operativo de una compañía de transportes de carga pesada

Abstract

La propuesta es poner en marcha una forma de evaluar cómo trabaja el personal del área de Operaciones en una empresa que transporta carga pesada. El objetivo es lograr un mejor desempeño, que el trabajo realizado vaya de la mano con lo que quiere lograr la empresa, y que haya un ambiente donde se pueda dar opiniones y sugerencias de manera constante. En este trabajo se usó una forma de investigar que combina contar lo que pasa y analizarlo. Se habló con algunos jefes y se encuestó al personal del área de operaciones. Al ver los resultados, quedó claro que no se está realizando una adecuada evaluación del desempeño. Pues existen varios problemas: los jefes no participan, no se explican bien cómo funciona el proceso y casi no hay sugerencias para mejorar.The proposal is to implement a system to evaluate how the staff in the Operations area of a heavy cargo transportation company perform their work. The objective is to make everything function better, to ensure that what they do aligns with what the company aims to achieve, and to create an environment where opinions and suggestions can be shared constantly. This study used a research method that combines describing what happens with analyzing it. Some supervisors were interviewed, and the Operations staff were surveyed. After reviewing the results, it became clear that the way performance is currently being evaluated needs to change. There are several problems: supervisors do not participate, the process is not well explained, and there are almost no suggestions for improvement.
