Abstract
The primary objective of this research is to structure and validate the business plan for the creation of "Sales Data Driven," a specialized strategic consulting firm in the sales domain. The firm focuses on addressing the analytical capability gap within the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) segment of the Peruvian market by optimizing the productivity and profitability of their sales channels. The purpose is to demonstrate the viability of a business model that delivers value primarily through a diagnostic-led methodology that precedes and informs the technological solution. This study employs a mixed-method research design, beginning with an exploratory phase (secondary sources, expert interviews, potential client interviews) and followed by a conclusive phase (surveys). It commences with an external analysis using PESTEL and Porter's Five Forces models to evaluate the macro and micro-environments, respectively. Subsequently, market research is conducted, combining secondary data to quantitatively size the opportunity and primary qualitative research through interviews to validate the hypotheses. The firm's design is articulated through an internal analysis (SWOT, Value Chain, Business Model Canvas), culminating in the formulation of a comprehensive marketing plan and a five-year financial plan.
